Player Appreciation Event    July 18, 2007

We are aware that recently Rappelz has not been as stable as we would like it to be.

We would like you, our users, to know you are appreciated. To help show you that you are appreciated for sticking with Rappelz through its hard growing pains, we would like to give you a Player Appreciation Event.

Users who had a Hidden Village pass during one of the days Rappelz was unavailable have been given a 2 week Hidden Village pass. All other users have been given a 1 week Hidden Village Pass. Rupee, Item, and Lak drop rates have been increased for the next two weeks.

Remember, Hidden Village passes are not items; they are buffs and will be displayed as a large icon in the top left of your screen near your character’s information.

Why I love Rappelz Contest    June 04, 2007

We will be running an event where you, the players, will tell us why you love Rappelz.
The contest will run from 06/04/07 until 06/25/07.

The top 5 entries, as determined by the Rappelz staff, will automatically win prizes. The rest of the entries will be entered into a drawing for Rappelz Merchandise and gPotatoes.

The Prizes:

1st Prize: 1 Rappelz iPod shuffle

Other prizes to be given away in a drawing: 100 prizes, consisting of Rappelz Mousepads, Rappelz Posters, and gPotatoes.

Rules:
One entry per person. Multiple entries will forfeit your chance for a prize.

All entries must be posted before 06/25/07. Winners will be notified by email by 07/06/07. Winners will have 2 weeks to respond or forfeit their prize. Physical Prizes will be mailed by 07/27/07. Coupons for gPotatoes will be emailed to winners by 07/27/07. No substitution of prizes allowed.

By entering, the contestant warrants that he/she is the sole author of the entry submitted. The contestant grants to the sponsor, Gala-Net, Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and publicly display the contestant's entry on its Web site and in other media for the purpose of promoting the sponsor. February Free 100 iPod Giveaway Event!    Jan 30, 2007

All through the month of February, Rappelz will be rewarding players by giving away 100 free iPod shuffles! These iPod shuffles will be specially engraved on the back with
"Rappelz - http://rappelz.gpotato.com".

There will be new winners every day! You may be eligible to win the iPod shuffle prize in the 2 ways described below:

1. By defeating monsters in combat you can win a special iPod token. If you loot one of these tokens you can redeem it for an iPod by e-mailing us at rappelzpromotions@gpotato.com. A total of 12 iPod Shuffles will be given out every week between February 7th and March 7th for a total of 48 iPods.
2. We will also be selecting from active Rappelz players to choose iPod winners. By playing an active role in our community you will be entered to win. Two winners will be selected at random every day between February 5th and March 2nd for a total of 52 iPods.

Some restrictions apply:

1. All winners must have their billing address updated in their profile information or they may not be eligible to win. If you fail to claim your prize within 2 weeks your account will be awarded 8000 gPotatos instead of receiving an iPod.
2. Users outside of the continental United States or Canada are required to pay for the cost of shipping the product to them. If you choose not to receive the iPod as a reward you may substitute your reward for 8000 gPotatos.
